1055 Carbon Steel Blades
1055 Carbon Steel has less carbon that some other carbon steels, which makes it easier to sharpen, but that also means that it will need to be sharpened more frequently.
Remember that all carbon steels will rust, so make sure to keep the blade dry, and sometimes wipe it down with mineral oil, WD40, or vegetable oil.
